philosophy
The Vienna International Music Competition is designed to support musicians with strong artistic personalities and stage presence. As an online competition, it allows candidates from all over the world to apply easily through video recordings, without travelling.
Outstanding musicians will be awarded with performances at the legendary Musikverein in Vienna, 5 Music Albums, cash prizes, special awards and international visibility.
After six successful editions, the Vienna International Music Competition has supported talented musicians from across the globe. Many past winners are pursuing international careers.
Music students and music professionals of all nationalities, ages and musical disciplines (piano, strings, wind, voice, chamber music and composition) are invited to apply.
